The Alumni of the Federal University of Technology Minna (FUT Minna) FCT Chapter proudly hosted its annual alumni meeting in Abuja, Nigeria. The event, held on the 20th of July 2024 at NOVARE Central Mall, Behind PDP National Secretariat (WADATA Plaza) Wuse Zone 5, Abuja, was a significant gathering of former students, faculty, and stakeholders, celebrating the enduring legacy and achievements of the university community.
The Special Guest for the occasion was Prof. Farouq Adamu Kuta, the Vice Chancellor, FUT Minna who was duly represented by the National President, FUT Minna Alumni Association Alhaji Abubakar Kimpa Isah.
The Host for the occasion was Hajia Hajarah Osori Abdulkadir, the Chairman, FUT Minna Alumni Association FCT Chapter, Co Launcher Alh. Nasiru Suleiman, MD Wiser Estate. Engr. ALiyu Babangida Aliyu, MD, Bilaad Realty. Haijia Faridah Odangi Suleiman, Gimbiyan Abaji. while the Chief- Launcher is Engr. Richard Yunana Dauda FNSE, who is the Ag. Director, Engineering Services, Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) Abuja and the Guest of Honour is Dr. Halilu Ahmad Shaba, the Former Director General, National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) , Abuja.
The meeting was marked by a series of engaging activities, including insightful talks, vibrant shows, and dynamic networking sessions. Esteemed alumni shared their experiences and professional journeys, providing invaluable inspiration and guidance to fellow graduates and current students. Keynote speakers included prominent industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs, whose contributions highlighted the remarkable impact of FUT Minna graduates in various sectors.
